Global In Home and Respite Care

Global can provide you a private and personal support solution for in home care or for short term respite care.

In Home Care

In Home care maybe needed when a family member has a permanent disability or incapacity due to illness or may be due to age related factors, dementia or as a result of industrial or motor vehicle accidents.

In home care maybe for a family member who has high support needs due to a combination of intellectual disability, physical disability, sensory impairment, neuro-muscular disorder, and other disability &/or health issues. The maybe special requirement inrespect to personal care and hygiene, epilepsy, PEG tub feeding, etc.

We can provide nurses and/or disability care staff who can provide the individual support your family member’s needs. We can provide continuity of care with regular carer staff, cover morning, day, evening and night shifts. We can provide carer staff during the week, on week-ends and public holidays.

Whether it be 24/7 care or to cover part of each day – we can provide a consistent pattern of support staff to meet your needs.

Respite Care

We can provide short periods of 4 hours respite care for a family member allowing you time for yourself and personal needs. Our care workers can provide care in the home and provide a companion for out of home excursions.

NOTE: Global has a "no lift" policy for the safety of our clients and staff, therefore, if needed, lifting hoist & slings need to be available, wheelchairs, shower/comode chairs, etc.

Special Situations

You may need assistance to take a family member to a medical appointment – we can provide a nurse/support worker for a minimum of 4 hours or more.

NOTE: ALL Global staff have been thoroughly screened including Working With Children Clearance Certificates and Police Records Check Certificates. Global is a Quality Certified Service for Third Party Verification against the Disability Service Standards.
